These side tables were designed for a famous vintner's city pied-a-terre away from Napa at the St. Regis residences in San Francisco. The mahogany was stained using a unique technique that allows the wood grain to show through the ebony coloring. A steel plate was hidden inside the tables to add ballast and avoid tipping.
