Mission-influenced coffee table

This coffee table was designed for a music executive in Los Angeles. He and his wife had painstakingly designed the interior of their Craftsman home to reflect the era, but, based on the dimesions of the room, desired an oval top for their living room. While oval shapes are not customarily a feature of Mission-style furniture, the piece needed to blend seamlessly with the tone and style of the home.
